Anybody heard of or used them? I did an oil change on my dad's old Cuda and found one of these new on his shelf while looking for what motor oil he used.

Looked this filter up on Amazon and the thing was 25$! Damn...can't hide money.

Baldwin filters are very good filters. They make a ton of stuff for commercial equipment (I.E. Big rigs, heavy equipment, etc).

Re:

He had half a bottle of vavoline v-somethin racing oil as well. It was just straight 50 wt. Never seen or heard of that either....but I found some at Advance Auto.

Baldwin filters are what I use on my fleet. stock and sale through Athens Driveline

Run them on my tractors. Lots of farm catalogs carry them, and they are the same price as a factory John Deere or Case filter

Only filter I will use on my cummins without going to a aftermarket system.

They are good filters not a lot of people carry them anymore but that's what a few strip mines have on all there equipment here never seen a problem with them and the Vr racing oil is a very good oil has zink in it my dad has been using the 20-50 for as long as I have been born and I use it now in most of my rides BTW awesome car you got has always been my dream ride got a few models I made when I was younger of a 70 Cuda

Re:

When went to working on forklifts year ago, i started them. They seem to be good filters. Mainly use them on older lifts

In 1936, J.A. Baldwin was one of the first to recognize the importance of improving mobile filtration. He designed a better lube filter and began production in Wisconsin. In 1953, he moved his manufacturing operation to the nation's heartland and started producing quality filters with nine employees. Today, Baldwin Filters has grown into an international company with an ever increasing global presence and a continued commitment to quality.

Thanks....I've got to get the brakes worked out this year, they're being really inconsistent and not very confidence inspiring. That.....and some subframe connectors.

Baldwin is all I use on my Dodge. I'm also going to use one on the single seater.

BTW, I have 4 of the Baldwin drop in fuel filters that fit the stock filter housing on a 3rd Gen. Cummins. I think maybe they fit 2nd Gen. too. I've got an Air Dog now, and I don't need them. And yes, I replaced the Air Dog filters with Baldwins too.

How much you want for those 4 filters?

Checked with some old-schoolers at work and they said same thing you guys did. When I told'em I never heard of them they looked at me like I told'em I've never seen Wal Mart.

I guess I need to get out more....or buy cooler ****.

Ive ran Baldwin fuel filters on my duramax with great luck. And the Valvoline VR1 oil you spoke of is all we run in our race cars. Its extremely good oil, although this year I am making the switch to Shaeffers to see how I like it.
