Batman Vs. Superman: dork topic

So the first trailer for this movie was released this week and the final 10 seconds of the that same trailer was also leaked with Batman standing in the rain and Superman hovering above him. Batman says, "Tell me, do you bleed?"

I never read the original comics where this fight apparently took place but apparently Batman won.

Am I the only one thinking there's no way in hell that Batman would ever stand a chance? I mean, if Superman handled Zod and his henchmen, all of whom had the same superpowers as Superman has, what chance does a regular dude with Chinese throwing stars have? I really feel like Superman would put Batman in a convalescent home within about .03 seconds of the beginning of the fight ... and that's if Batman was lucky.

It will be interesting to see how they make Batman win in the movie ...

I'm sorry if this topic offends anyone.

Duh, Superman wins in a fight, unless Batman had on Kryptonite underoos.

I've only read one Batman comic book and no Superman (and literally no other comic books... just happened to pick up a Batman one day and read it at my cousins house), and Batman was a disturbed mofo and shot and killed a bad guy with a hunting rifle from a rooftop.

I thought "What the hell? This isn't the BANG POW cartoon/movie Batman that I've grown up with, this is some twisted ****.

I'm guessing Batman is the cool thing with kids these days. Daughter went through a spell where all she talked about was Batman. We had rounds about how I thought Superman would kick batmans ass. We still don't agree. Unless he has kryptonite there is no way he winds. She did say something about batman winning in a comic. I have not read it either though.

I am guessing the popularity of batman these days as opposed to superman is why he would win in the movie.

I think its superheros in general that are cool these days. My daughter fell asleep in her Superman costume on the couch 2 days ago after wearing herself out pretending that she was flying.

I'm a big fan of the superhero movies that are coming out. Both Marvel and DC. I collected the **** out of comics when I was little but that's not even why. I feel like the story lines that Marvel is developing through all the different movies is cool, as well as the little after-credits scenes. I also feel like the whole movie theater experience these days sometimes gets lost and the superhero movies do a good job of bringing it back. I also don't enjoy drama movies because I feel like I have 99 problems, why do I need to pay to go watch someone else's? Superhero movies are literally the only movie I'll actually pay to go see any more.

How??? I can't think of a single thing Batman could do to hurt Superman. Superman could literally just stand there and let Batman go to work for like 5 hours straight and not a single thing he could do would hurt him. And then just one contact from Superman would pulverize Batman ... like literally turn him to mush.

In the most recent Superman movie one of Zod's guys throws a train engine car at Superman and scores a direct hit. Superman just shoves the train aside and walks away without a scratch, like it was just a minor nuisance. What could Batman do to rival that? He's just a normal dude with a bad back and bum knees in fancy pajamas.

Yeah, I actually watched that spawn movie again the other day when I was laid up on the couch after a minor surgery. GAWD that movie sucked!

I feel like we'll never see carnage in a movie now because he's too similar to venom who they've already done. Of course the green goblin / hobgoblin has been in like every spider man movie to date though and I feel like he is the gayest of the gay. But any movie that truly tried to portray carnage as he was in the comics would also be rated r and marvel doesn't want that either.

I was pretty disappointed with the movie version of venom, too. In the comics he was a massive mofo. But he was a scrawny little bitch in the movie.

never read a single comic book. I've watched some batman movies, and maybe a few superman things.
Invincible, flies, unlimited power/strength
Human, saddle with all the frailties of the condition. Has cool toys. How exactly does one get Kryptonite if you can't fly to a ****ing planet far far away?
Total dork topic, but when I saw it on facebook yesterday I was puzzled. No contest, and they are both good guys for the most part yes? what is the fight about, Bruce **** Lois Lane?
