GUYS,
I RUN 17" ALLIED WITH 39.5 TSLS. I TOOK THE OUTER RINGS OFF TO PAINT THEM AND PUT NEW BOLTS ON.FIRST TRIP OUT I DEFLATED 2 TIRES, 3 SEPERATE TIMES. PRIOR TO THIS, THEY NEVER, EVER LEAKED DOWN BETWEEN WHEELING TRIPS AND ONLY ONCE OR TWICE IN A YEARS TIME DID I DEFLATE THEM.
SO, WHAT DID I DO WRONG? I TORQUED PER SPECS FOUND ONLINE AND IN A 12, 6, 3, 9 PATTERN AS RECOMMENDED.
I WAS RUNNING 6 PSI DURING ALL THIS. EVENTUALLY, I GOT PISSED, TIGHTENED THEM ALL PAST SPEC, AIRED TO 9 PSI, AND NO ISSUES THE REST OF THE DAY. ID LIKE TO GET BACK TO 6 PSI THOUGH. THOUGHTS??

Just guessing, but I would assume the tires were newer (softer) when you put them on the first time and the sealed up better. Now they are older (stiffer) and may take a while to conform to the irregularities of the wheel/rings surfaces.

Good Thought. Never Thought Of It That Way.

Wheeled Today At 8 Psi, No Issues. Be Nice If I Knew I Could Go Lower Psi And Be Ok.

Trial Ans Error I guess

I cheated when I mounted mine and put silicone between the tire and wheel. 3psi and no problems. And hold air for months at a time.
