Belt maintenance

The harness thread reminded me. Wasn't there a thread on harness maintenance a while back? Keeping them clean and functioning properly? Mine are starting to get tough to adjust and I'm wondering what tricks ya'll have for keeping them operating correctly.

I spray a little Silikroil on the latches from time to time to keep them binding up.

After a muddy or dusty trip, I put a dab/shot/light spray of Silicone Lube (same stuff I spray on the heims before a trip) right on the adjusters.

My latches have always worked easily its always been my shoulder adjustment that seems to bind up and stuff. I learned to loosen them all the way before i took them off and it makes it easier but my passengers never fully grasp that.
