Looking to add a fuel cell in my jeep. Thought about making one or buying one not sure yet. Thoughts? What do you all run or what do you think is the best bang for the buck?

Most common fuel cell used in jeep yj/tj is the RCI2161A. It fits behind the rear seat and the factory pump will work with it. Ive used them a couple times. Just make sure you use good mounting straps to hold it down. I did have a weld crack on the first one i ordered....not sure why though

I used the same RCI cell in my jeep it fits well. Do not use the tabs to mount it. Use a strap type hold down. I emailed RCI and that cell is available in poly too not just alum. I would suggest going poly. Some alum cells can crack at the welds.

Here is the name and # from the email. I never followed through ended going another route.

Yes, we made one for the Offroad JEEP Guys, call me

Wayne
RCI- 903-939-1908

Wayne is awesome to deal with and very quick service. They also will modify one of their tanks for an additional 50.00 fee.
