from what i've heard, spectator died. another was hit. when the guy holding the money tried to take the 2nd hit dude to the hospy, somebody shot and killed him.

I was part of that scene back in the day. Raced down there for years. Nobody ever brought 5 second cars. They wont hook without concrete. Idiots. One apparently came from florida and the other from Tennessee to race for 10k. Why the hell didnt they rent an hour or 2 at a drag strip? What a stupid f****** reason to kill somebody.

Hell during the race season on Thursday nights you can run whatever you want at Holiday Beach here in Tuscaloosa County. I mean everything from 4wheelers to one time I saw a damn Snowmobile go down the track! Why not run them then and there. What a bunch a fawking idiots!!!!!!!

Of course, UAB ER sees over 60,000 adult patients a year. I know what I saw working in the ER and when I see stuff like this it just makes me wonder why and how people like that have made it that far....
