I'm got a semi-stiffy over his new chassis, not knocking the Solids you're building, just saying Branik has got some **** together here lately.

Not a big fan of the moon buggy thing. I still want to race and be able to play on the weekends also, hard to do both when the wife wants to race and play also. She told last night, F^ck it build two single seaters :dunno: :dunno: I told her to get another job loller.gif The single seater is the way to go to be fast and win in the XRRA, but Brain has done a great job with the two seater, I am building two single seaters now for Brian and me. Going to build alot of new chassis starting soon!!!

my shafts should be in soon...i am on the fence whether or not to send them out to branik....all i would have to do is grind down the dedenbear stop that it on mah knuckles....

What kind of shafts are those? Are they just a chrom-mo shaft with a lot machined down,or are they cast with a lot of relief and machined a little?

I know lots have done it, but those pics are the first I have seen that actually show what he does to them. They look nice, very sweet!!!!

Hey Neal I found something else for you to do while bored at work. :flipoff1:

Alright I gotta ask, Doees this make the shafts weaker? I know removing material always makes something weaker but, maybe not in this case, due to the rotational force it sees? Thinking out loud. ???

I thought the same thing with the first few pair we did, I have not seen any break yet. Not sure I would do it to my own, this customer runs both WEROC and the XRRA and they wanted the tight turning for the WEROC events. I would think in a real tight turn and hard on the gas would be hard on them, I guess we will see.

I've got mine done and there supposed turn over 50 degrees. Plus i have a 9 inch stroke ram and i've not had any problems. But i am running 40's too
