Bought a Mac.....I am lost as a goose!

What a fuggin nightmare. ::)

I can't figure out how to do a damn thing.

I can't even "right click"

I am still learning on mine. which Mac did you get? we have the iMac with the 20" screen
I really need to learn up on some things for this comp....I do miss the right click feature, I am sure there is a way to do it.

My sister left one at my house and I have used it a few times...Don't ever think I could get used to the damn thing.

24" iMac

I wanted to have the big screen for photo editing. I am so lost. I managed to get a picture of Speedracer (Joel) stuck on my desktop somehow :P

Keith Thrash showed me how to get the right-click feature on mine today, but I cannot navigate to where he was when he showed me.

Gay.

I will trade Joel a deer hunt for a training session after he gets back from Vegas.....

you will have to hook me up some how. I wanna learn more about it. maybe i will get a bow and drive my happy ass up there for some iMac training! lol molaugh :dunno:

In the mac world, holding down the ctrl button while clicking is the equivalent of right clicking on a PC.

you must be overthinking it

...apple button and 'click' for what you'd right-click on a windows machine---OR... They do sell 2 button mice at electronics stores for macs---hell i think windows ones work too... I bought a 2 button mouse for mine and DAMN it's a wold of difference---i really need it for video/photo editing on my mac fer sho...

it seems to me that it gets pretty slow sometimes.....but I am pretty sure it is the damn internet connection and it is wireless....thoughts?

Mine sometimes acts slow but on stuff windows would freeze up on the mac is pretty damn stable----I have locked up final cut pro before---that wasn't the computer's fault, it's the wire going between my external drive and the mac didn't have a high enough data transfer speed----so now I got a 1TB internal and hope to fix that problem---also just tossed 8GB Ram in errr hitit

My mac does not get used daily though. Just for editing video mainly.
 
You dont even wanna know how long it's been unplugged and boxxed up. I had just got back on AMDF3 when our basement flooded ::)
