Looking at doing axle swap on my TJ. I did some online research which showed some results but I'm sure a lot of people have done this on this forum. So my question is where is the best place to buy brackets to put 1 tons under my TJ? This will be a "junkyard axle" swap.

Are you "building" a custom Long Arm Suspension as well? OR do you want OE stlye brackets that will match up to OE style suspension or off the shelf suspension kit.

If I were building a suspension at the same time, I would order parts from a Ruff Stuff/ Barnes/Poly/Ballastic/etc.

If I were using a OE style kit, I would look at somthing like the Genright Kit ( http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=BCE7110 )

If I were a cheap-ass booty fab fabricator, I might cut the brackets off the D30/D35 and burn them back onto the new axles.

Check out barnes. I believe he has the best prices. And his service is untouchable. I broke somthing, called Brad, and he sent me a replacement before I sent the broke one back. That does not ever happen, for me anywAys. I have spent quite a bit of money at Barnes with no regrets.

Thanks for all the information. My jeep already has long arm kit so I was gonna go with "OEM" style stuff. I have my Dana 44's sold and don't wanna cut the brackets off of those
