Ok, simple question. If I was going to cut down my backing plates to get rid of the dang things, what would I do to mount my brake line? Pictures? Thanks in advance!

I have had gravel stuck in them, and have had them bend and rub the disk. Haven't ran any on my last 3 trucks.

As mentioned, Ive gotten mud and gravel and crap stuck in mine way too many times, not to mention them bending in and rubbing.

Plus, without them, it just looks "cleaner". I know that Im not the only one who has gotten rid of them. What else have people done?

I guess Jason and I just can't drive for sheeiit. :fawkdancesmiley: You guys must be hardcore. You could always just run your soft lines straight into the calipers.

no kidding, guess we need to get out more. Wonder where all the "hardcore" guys are wheelin at. We must be missing something:haha:

No, see its because I suck and hit too much crap that messes them up :D

I thought about running soft lines all the way to the caliper, but Im not sure I like that idea either.

I may just straighten them up as much as I can and run them. Or just cut out most of them but leave the line holder on it. Who knows yet.
