'98 TJ rear upper contol mount broke off the frame last weekend at Manastash. Saw it when I stopped in CleElum, so I drove home with a 3 link. I haven't been able to find replacement mounts, the one I have is all messed up. Is there any out there that I missed? Or has anyone made their own replacement mount. I am running some TerraFlex short arm uppers so it is the OME mount. Drivers side rear-upper.

You don't need that anyway.

I would say it's time to do a longarm. Or you could make your own upper mount. Get some sort of rod ends (builder joints, or heims) and make it better than it was.

try polyperformance or bluetorch fab. They will probably have what you need.

poly performance... 805-783-2069

blue torch... 334-673-2755

I am sure S-N could build you one too.

Well, I ended up with a OME mount from Olympic4x. The new one is just a tad different. Like mine ('98) is made of .125 material and the one I picked up is made from .156. The bends have a larger radius so I can't match measure it to the other side. Plus I found out the right hand side is also cracking. Only on the forward side. So once I get it welded back up, I will need a good 4 wheel alignment. I live up north (LynnHood) so a shop somewhere in that area. Now to get it back on the trail..

Welded and back on the road. Is there any tips on adjusting up the control arms in the garage? Iam sure the bracket is off from the OME setting, but close and should be able to make the adjustment correct with the conrtol arm. So is there any tips on how to set the uppers to the correct postion?
