Your are right... I guess it depends on what kind of rig the 6.0 is being for.. for a bouncer i dont see the square ports being a problem because they are usually full blast and the l92s flow very well. Running the truck intake helps as well makes alot more low/mid power over the car intakes but in turn they dont look as good but a nice engine cover will fix that or run a aftermarket intake. I had a ported set of 243 heads on a lq4 that were shaved down 45 thousands with 11to1 and a good size bumpity stick it made all kinds of mid range power
