Good one Wyatt Lol I already heard that one.
Since I've pretty much just started studying all this, it's just confusing to me as to why one would upgrade later. That would no longer be the initial engagement ring with the centiment behind it then. Plus, I just don't see spending more money on bling like that....of course, she probably don't see spending $13k on a fawking Polaris either. 
As of now, I don't want to spend more than maybe $3k-3,500 for all 3 rings. Anything more than that, to me, is just crazy. That whole 2-3 months salary is insane imo! You can do a lot with that extra money! Ppl blow $10k on a ring, then like a neighbor of mine did, throw a $30k wedding.....holy hell! Fawk no! Ya know what you could've bought with that $40k!? I just don't see things like that being materialized. Since Casie and I have been together, we have never not one single time bought each other a bday or holiday gift. Instead, we go out to eat somewhere nicer than normal or do something else special. I hate material gifts, she is kinda the same way, so I don't feel like she would ever need anything more than what I get her the first go-round....I hope. 
Funny story, a friend of mine bought his lady an $8k ring, he fawked her over, they divorced a couple years later, she literally went and threw that $8k ring in the fawking ocean!!!!!!!!! I mean damn, sell that bitch and keep the money, don't fawking throw it away! **** balls!
