There IS a retaining bolt on the locker. Then you slide a little plate out of the side of the carrier.

I'll find pics. BRB.

Ahhh You the man Karl, even if you are a little :rb: :flipoff:

Thanks again.

Well I wonder if he can spot a bent shaft or a straight shaft? :redneck:

I pulled out my axle shaft and I'm not convinced it's bent. If it is, its in the very slightest. So tomm after it drains the malassas oil over night I'm going to replace the seal and bearing and slap in the new shaft. :redneck:

What's it doing? is the housing bent or the shaft itself?

its the shaft, has to be. I jacked up the rig and put it in gear while running. You could clearly see the axle shaft going in and up and down movement. Meaning its warped. But when I pulled it out, it looks damn straight to me. I dont know. I guess It'll be my trail spare.

You sure the housing hasn't flexed. That will make your tire "wobble" too.

Trust me. I had a D35 that smiled all the way home after a brief excursion with some gravity defying manuvers. The housing was bent, and the tire wobbled like hell, but I used my old shafts in the new housing.

I suggest pulling both shafts and taking a peek from one tube through the diff and see if you can see out the other side.
