I did a bunch of googeling and cant find one simple bit of info. I need to know the inlet and outlet for the tranny cooler so i can mount up my trans temp gage. Another tidbit, although not tottaly ctirical is the total capacity for the trans fluid. It would just be a guideline at this point.

the rear port on a c-6 is the return back to the case. imo i would always install the temp sender in the pressure tap port on the case to read internals, not cooler line temp.

Is it hooked up and running? If so, fire it up, put it in gear and gas it for a couple seconds. The line that gets warm is the outlet from the tranny.

you can just unscrew one of the cooler lines at the cooler and watch which way the fluid comes from. Best place to put the probe in in the pan where the fluid is.

Front is pressure, rear is return.

Buy a case of fluid. If the convertor and valve body is dry it will swallow almost all of it. 10+ quarts. A pan fill usually is like 8 quarts.

You are my new best friend!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

:D

If you pull the valve body in the rig it will drain the convertor... and send about 3-4 quarts down on you.. I've owned a few.
