C6 trans for 460 ?

Help me out here

Can someone tell me more about the c-6 trans 4wd that bolts up to a ford 460.

How do you tell, where to look for the numbers
Does the c6 have to come out of a 4wd , I was told the adapters for the transfer case are real hard to find.

End the end just trying too get a Better idea of what I should be looking for.

i have one that needs rebuilt 50 bucks there were only two diffrent lenghts long tail and i have the long 4x4 .two wheel versions had very long tail shafts just give me a call if you have any questions 931-635-3255 ryan
