so i just bought a trailer tonight. it has a 7pin connector, as well as my camper. so what are you guys doing to have both units plugged in? i know my chevy the plug has a harness that unplugs above the spare tire. wondering if they make a doubler out of the harness? anyhow what do you guys do?

My truck was already setup with a plug from under the front side of the bed, for the camper. Camper had same so it was easy.

Not sure on what year your tow-rig is but my dads 01 Chevy had the same plug that JayW mentions below. Check for it, his was wrapped up and tied to the frame.

As for the doubler you speak of, you can usually find them at any place that carries a decent amount of trailer lighting equipment.

I've an '01 F350, I spliced into the main wire bundle, and installed a separate connector in the side of my truck bed for the camper, and have the other in the back for the trailer
