Can you identify this transfer case?

I bought my first buggy last week and I'm trying to figure out everything that's on it. The guy I bought it from told me the transfer case was a SCS drop box but I found out today they only make aluminum transfer cases. This one is steel and kind of looks home made. There are no numbers or names on it that I can find. If you can identify it, it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Im voting homemade chaindriven drop box. Ive seen them live in 2000hp+ sand dragsters before. different application, might be beef....might be a bike chain?

Heres a pic. 4.3 TBI, Hp Dana 60 front and rear, 4 wheel steering, TH 350 trans, and that's about all I know about it.

It is indeed a homemade case. Good luck with it. Guy in Fl built it. Took a lot of flamming for it too!

Link to flamery?

I looked for it but could't find it. I dont think he took as much flaming for the case as he did for the buggy as a whole. I remember a picture of it upside down and the occupants coudln't get out :****:

Yeah its got a little noise coming from it. No drain or fill plugs, I'm gonna take it out this week and take it apart to check out the condition. It may or may not go back in it.
