So I had a couple hours to mess with the truck tonight.I pulled the carb off the truck, pulled the top off of it. everything looked pretty clean. the floats seemed to move freely. I sprayed everything down with carb cleaner and drained it all out. Still no luck, so I tried removing the porcelan (sp?) filter from the fuel inlet on the carb. Still couldn't get it to fire.I'm seeing a small amount of fuel spray coming from the primaries I assume (front two barrells of the carb) when I open the throttle. Couple other questions. What kind of pressure should I be reading at my gauge thats on the fuel inlet? Should it be a steady pressure, my pressure seems to jump around a bit, 2.5 to 4 pounds. Also, when I shut my pump off the fuel pressure falls back to O psi...does a carb set up not use anysort of check valve to hold pressure? and to answer the question, it was last ran in early June I'd guess.
