I got in touch with Jimmy Penner and ordered the pinion shaft from EOR's ultimate carrier bearing kit. It's basically a custom machined 14bolt pinion. It fits an f250 carrier bearing that I picked up from rockauto. I've only been running it for about 6 months so far. No issues other than finding the 1350 joint didn't provide enough angle for my suspension travel. Swapped to a 1410 (plus some clearancing) and it's all good.
Burkey turned me on to this setup. Same thing he was running in the rear of the Riot so I had no concerns about it holding up for my driving.
