thankyou everyone. the preload should be real close with the original shim packs, we are going to use the old bearings if they are still good and add shims to correct preload and backlash if it isnt already money(figure it wont be but its a start.)if the bearings are bad i will have the owner order them.Edit: i have plenty of shims
