Here's chris's excerpt from the facebook group he created:
The time has come for the Super Adventure Ride. If you have not heard, myself and my friends Jeff and Shane are riding our dirt bikes from Los Angeles to the Panama Canal! We will be leaving this Thursday the 5th from LA and heading into Mexico down the Baja Peninsula and eventually geting to Cabo San Lucas and chilling at our place there for a week then taking the ferry to mainland Mexico and following the pacific coast through Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Then coming all the way back the Caribbean side and going through Texas, New Mexico and Arizona back to LA. Going to be 10,000+ miles of amazingness and the unknown.
You may ask yourself, are you guys fully prepared for this kind of trip? Truthfully No. But we are going for it and seeing what happens and thats what its all about, adventure. I will be riding my XR650R, Jeff on his WR426 and Shane on his KLR650. The whole trip will be tracked with Online GPS and we are setting up a blog type deal which we will update with stories, trials and tribulations and pictures along the way. We will also be making a video of our whole experience via Helmet Cam and MiniHD. This will be a 2+ month adventure. To all of my friends currently in Central America make sure to keep in contact and we will link up along the way and do it big. Keep an eye on our GPS to see where we are at live starting february 5th. The link is

I will post up the link to the Blog on this event page once it is online. This is not a attending/not attending type event. Just a way for you and us to post updates and comments along the way. Wish us luck, were gonna need it....
today's update
Well we made it into Mexico and all was going well until Jeff blew his motor in the desert on his WR426. A decision was made and he is currently back in California getting the bike fixed. Meanwhile Shane and I are continuting down to Cabo San Lucas Baja and Jeff is going to solo mission is all the way down Baja and meet us down there on his fixed bike. Besides that fiasco everything has been awesome and we are currently in Santa Rosalia halfway to Cabo and then heading to mainland Mexico and into Central America. Wow its a long ways. GPS is active everyday so check that out to see where are live and we are in process of setting up the Blog. Hope everyones as good as we are. Viva Baja
