at least that builder is smart enough to ask for all the parts and part of the labor up front.
On the teal jeep I let him pay for parts as he went and worried about labor later. I only got the parts and burn table money, none of the labor. : stupid on my part, but a very very good learning experience. Nobody is your buddy when it comes to money

AMEN on that i built a car for a buddy of mine, pulled motor, tranny, and all suspension then built the motor just brought me all the parts installed a new transmission and all new suspension parts he said let me carry it home to get it out of your way till i can pay you and get a tune well that was 3 months ago and nothing has been paid
