I think the new camaro looks a little too much like a mustang. And I'm not sure what's up with this,
"The 4-cylinder engine will be offered with an audio system that "amplifies the native sound" of the engine through the stereo, according to GM". :wtflol:

The lines in the body from the side view make it look like a Mercedes coup to me....why would you want to hear the motor through the speakers? :dunno:

And the new Mustangs look reaaly good, but they don't have that classic mustang look anymore, more like a Japanese sports car like a supra

I like the headlights, grills, and dash. Other than that, I'll keep my 3rd and 5th generation camaro's I have now over it. I think it looks like a stretched cobalt. The 4 cyl is supposed to be sub 6 sec 0-60 though.

I haven't looked at the new mustangs very much but going from memory it seems like camaros and stangs are kinda evolving into the same basic shape. I know a car is a car but cmon. Need more style

The 2.0 Turbo is faster than any stock Camaro from 72-92.... and close on the 93-97s

Due to quieter cars all a around this sound adding has been going onfor several years. Many use a tube from the intake piped into the cabin and some imports play a specific sound file depending on accelerator positions and gear used. Otherwise it would be like playing a video game with sound off or very low.

It's not really what I'd like to see, but I guess like many new models this will begin to grow on people and it'll be better accepted.

Well, I was going to post a rant when I have read about the "engine noise sound clips"... Then I saw you read my mind and posted what I was thinking

I would much rather still have the displacement from a 93-97.

Huh? Why when you can just Bluetooth a track of V8 revving over your stereo??? Hell, you could bluetooth the sound of a NHRA drag car if you wanted and it would be exactly like driving the real thing according to the manufacturers! LOL!

You don't even really have to be moving! Soon they will just have an optional LED-windshield that will allow you to just sit in your garage and project an mp4 of a car driving on the screen. You can sit there alone with your NHRA dragster track playing on the stereo and just make vroom vroom noises with your mouth while you swing and sway to imaginary turns all while only having to turn accessory power on!
