best option would be a GM 3 finger out of a late 70's chev 1 ton. That will go in at the same time as the 4.3 v-6 motor swap that you really need. if you are going to stay with the Toy, I would recommend Centerforce dual with the hd cover. You need to slip the clutch at times to build torque.
