I just recieved my Old Man Emu TJ lift, and noticed that both sets of coils front and rear are different lenghts. As in one front is longer then the other same with the rear. I also did not recieve instructions. Any idea which coil goes on which side????

Been there done that.

The taller front goes on the driver side. The taller rear goes on the passenger side.

To be honest with you I dont think it really matters much as that slight differance in coil height makes so little differance in the tip/lean of the jeep. If you disconnect the sways, just setting a tool box on one side or the other of the rear tub will tip the jeep more that that spring height differance will.

I'd put them on the passenger side. Someday when you lock it, you will learn what the lifties are. :awesomework:

But you don't count; if you put longer coils on one corner of your TJ it would actually make it sit level. :D

If you do alot of driving/wheeling by yourself, put the longer ones on the drivers side. If you have a fat wife/girlfriend (or commonly carry both on the passenger side :haha: ) Put the longer ones on the passenger side. :corn:

Longer springs on l/f and r/r

this is to preload the suspension to reduce lifting the l/f tire.
