First time buying coilovers. I'm building a buggy tons, sbc, np205. I'm trying to keep weight down. I'm looking at options thinking of going 16 in rear 14 on front. I'm not looking to jump the thing I'm still use to my leaf sprung jeep. Just wondering on a trail/ hill climber any benefits to going with the 2.5s?
Also would you guys run same size front and rear? Any pros and cons with the 14s or 16s?
Thanks

14's in front and 16" out back works good, and 2.0's are all you need in a trail rig

2.5 are huge. I have king on my jeep but I also plan on doing some racing. 2.0 should work for you.

I have 2.0s on my Rockwell rig too. They are plenty strong enough. . Make sure and use limiting straps. I pulled the guts out of one.

2.0 s are fine I have 16s now i would go 14s they have more spring choices for adjustments. If setup right I see no reason for longer than 14 if you want more travel move mounts in a little same wheel travel with shorter shocks and tires won't get into springs when full flex.

Good info. I was pricing shocks and the 2.5 are not that much more. But that extra money could go elsewhere.
Yankster I gave your buggy the dirty eyeball at witc :o really like the simplicity and rocks is there anything you would change?

About 100 more horsepower is all that ole girl needs! For a big buggy it crawls and flexes great as well as climbing steep hills.

Usually order everything through offroad connection he's local and Keith is very good to deal with
