Beer May Fight Disease


(Houston, TX) -- Drinking an ice cold beer could help fight disease, at least that's what some students at Rice University in Houston are hoping for. A group of students at the Texas school is working to create a beer with the same substance found in red wine that's been shown to help fight cancer in mice. They are optimistic it would help fight diabetes or heart disease. They planning to show off the creation this weekend in Massachusetts at the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition.

They need to work on whiskey. Never had a taste for beer. I will drink one playing golf now and then, but its gotta be cold enough to crack the enamel on your teeth. ;D

just the opposite, my love for hot cheap whiskey straight ended in high school. 14 years later it hasn't come back :-\
