crankshaft position sensor help

I'm trying to install a new cps.But My cps plug was cut off at the motor so I went out and bought a new crankshaft position sensor and a plug but the plug came off a Cherokee and has different color wires..So what I need to know what color wire goes into what plug hole.What I found out so far is what my three wires are white with black stripe 5 volt to dist pick up brown with red stripe 8 volts to tps and red with green stripe it says to cps so is that suppose to be ground.I'm not sure if each wire on the cps matters what wire I hook to what plug hole.This is on my 1991 jeep wrangler.If any has a 1991 or 1992 yj that has a round plug and can take a look at yours and let me know what wire goes were would really be appreciated.Thanks(I have been trying to figure this out for 3 days now and this is my daily driver )
