Is there a way to retrieve your bookmarks if the computer crashes, but we were able to revive the comp (somewhat

You can try using a ERD from systernals. This will boot in a windows shell that mounts your HDD and you can pull data from there

On this Windows XP machine:

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Open the only folder in Profiles. See if there is a file called Bookmarkbackups.

Note: You might not see some of those folders in C: because they are hidden folders. You may need to unhide them.

for future use, i belive firefox has caught up with chrome, and it will now sync. basicly it synchs with the clouds, and across platforms. never loose your stuf again.
