I thought I remember seeing someone mention something about a turbo bell housing used with a v6 tranny is a good way to go. Isn't the R150F stronger and geared slightly better and will bolt to a turbo bell housing as well as a RF1A transfer case. You can find those transfer cases in 23 spline behind the already 23 spline R150F.

I think the turbo bell housing is about as hard to find as the turbo tranny, at least thats what I remember.

But the turbo tranny(r151?) will bolt up to your 22re with the correct bell housing.

does marlin make an addapter? or Advanced addapters? for the r150 to 22re? instead of the turbo bell?

I was looking around a little last night and either I couldn't find one or I haven't looked hard enough.

I'v got a turbo bellhousing. $100 And yes a V6 trans bolts to it. A turbo trans is pretty much just a V6 trans with a 4 cyl. t-case on it.

Say what? The turbo tranny in stock form with its correct bell housing will bolt up to a 22R/E.

A turbo tranny bell housing will bolt to a V6 transmission, which allows you to mate a V6 transmission to a 4 cylinder. The V6 tranny and turbo tranny are very similar.

V6 trannies have chain driven t-cases. Turbo trannies have gear driven t-cases. The chain driven V6 t-case can be swapped out for a gear driven one however.
