whats your guys opinion on curries rock jock 60's i dont ever really see anyone running them are they strong or is the aluminum weak on it i would kind of think so just wondering

its a strange design IIRC. aluminum center with a steel skid, and set screw to hold the axle tubes in place instead of plug welds. i would go with a center like a pro-rock or a rock crusher, unless your really worried about weight.

I've seen a set once...once was enough.

They are a great novelty item if you have a trailered show queen truck with lots of bling that will never get wheeled.

If I recall correctly they are not very rigid.

I never understood the aluminum center. Thats one of the parts on your rig that gets the most pounding on and also I think it would be better to have the extra weight of cast iron. But what it really comes down to is money and if you got it then youll buy what ever the greatest and latest is out there.

the last quote i got from them for a dana60rear set up,disc, chromo, hp, 538s and an arb was something like 4300 with shipping, but that was 4 years ago

yeah dyna trac can get abit pricy, but shop around, DTS, quoted 1800, with gears disc, axles, shortened to 63"

whos DTS thats not to bad. im trying to find some different companies that do dana 60's i want to back half my truck next year and do a dana 60 in the back since i want to run in the 5.89 range my 5.14's are good for 33's but nothing bigger so its going to kill me when im running 35-36's
