cv clamps

I ripped another boot this past weekend on my 800 and the be honest the cv clamps really aggrivate me.

In a pinch I have used cable ties and hose clamps as a quick fix.

So, is there an actual cv tool that works ? Another option ?

I have had better luck using zipties than anything. I take to 2 narrow ones and put them on each side that way if one does break i still have one on there. Been running like that for years on my fourwheeler and it hasn't failed yet.

We have metal pull ties at work that I have used to reseal some cars I have done trans or suspension work on and popped the joint out. Same principle as a wire tie but there metal and much stronger.
