So I got the new horns in and guess what--ya no worky. So I pulled the horn button off and No voltage at the contact. hmmm. I am going crazy I think because I know I did before. So turned the steering wheel and I have voltage at one little spot. So I pulled the steering wheel and the horns work with manually crossing contacts.I looked over the old/warped steering wheel and pulled the contact plates. Well the fix was pretty simple--I just had to shim the contact plates a tad, reinstall and works like a champ. I am sure my dad will order a new steering wheel after driving it for a while.
