So the dodge started making an interesting new noise and the boost was fluctuating. pulled the intake tube off tonight, the shaft in the turbo has about 1/16" of play. I mean up an ddown play. wow. I have no idea how pieces of compressor wheel havne't gone through the engine yet. Looks like I'm getting an HX35/HX40 hybrid turbo and 40 horse injectors from piers diesel. under a grand if I act now!!! dunno

oh well, its only money that I could spend on a buggy or a stak for my ****, right? :spin: :spin:

the turbo is $650 and won't be here for a week.5. nice, that's the only thing I'm legally allowed to drive or it back to the no license line if I get caught and now its down until $6 bills roll along. ****. back to the beggin rides game. this is so gay at 28. if I weren't married I would have offed myself by now skully

okay, gave PDR (piers diesel research) my debit card number today for $650 plus 40 ship. I will be out of a vehicle until a week from monday or tuesday. this not being able to drive other **** sucks. I have a dropped v8'd s10 in the front of the house sitting wanting to be abused that I can't drive because of no interlock :'( GAY

Still a sliding scale or are all equal? I just dropped number...I forget now today, and got a bit of nutty from her and it's been a month. That seems to be my limit anymore before I tire of one girl. Taking a break for a couple months.

Good luck on the Dodge, treat it nice, it needs to last ya dammit.

Don't you run a D-Max? Keep us posted, or at least me, I;m always curious whats failing for other guys. Mines been a peach aside from injectors, and the frontend (but thats my infliction).

Yeah I have an 04.5 D-Max, looks like its goin to the shop Monday for Injectors. Never had any problems until yesterday. Has 56k hard miles on it.

WHOA!!!! Stop driving it!!!
I had my injector failure at 66K. Yeah the failed injector will pump your crankcase fuel of fuel. Then that fuel floats the oil. Then that fuel washes all your bearing real nice like. Thats about the time you wipe a bearing and have a boat anchor D-max.

I drove mine about 1.3 miles when mine failed, and the GM tech said that I should be worried about my bottom end. Maybe not now but down the road I'll have a bearing issue. That is the one thing in the back of my head that will be the nail in the coffin for my D-max. i love it, and I love no payments.

Now a better story. Clown I trade against had a buddy fill his D-max on Wednesday full of 93 octane. Then rather than drop the tank or try to siphon it. Dumped a bunch of Marvel Mystery oil in it and then proceeded to try to run it all day to get the gas out of it.
1st I'm surprised it never hydrolocked
2nd I'm surprised the injectors didn't burn up
3rd Ruined the turbo with all of that unburnt fuel flowing through it on the exhaust side

Some people are just too stupid to be living. >:(

Ok I quit driving it, I will have to drive it to the shop Monday though. It just started Friday and I did drive it to work last night, didn't really have a choice. I sure hope my 100k mile warranty covers it. It doesn't smoke bad all the time only when you stop at a redlight, starts idiling funny.

it came today, but we went up and bought a new car tonight. just got home, after 10 and I'm up at 5:30. still need to shower and poach some poon off the new bride. short answer, no :flipoff1:
it didn't come with a turbine housing so i hope mine isnt fawked. dunno
