You do need one gear from a Bronco case, a '73 (IIRC) or early J shft case. You just need the rear low range sliding gear, all the others come from the Dana18. Actually I think you can do it the other way around too (using just the bull gear from the Dana18), but I didn't investigate that route.TreeClimber said:Don't think this is correct. The two low range gears (the big spur gears) are too big.
