Will a 300 with upgraded 32 spline outputs hold up to 350-400 hp and 39" stickies in a 2 seater buggy on tons?

I was planning on running stock gears. Where do the cases usually split and is there any way to brace them?

WEAK!!! my experience is : broke rear output= fixed by 32 spline front and rear, then stripped teeth on 2 sets of factory gears= fixed by 4:1, then cracked case stripped gears= went back to stock gears(refund since it was on the first ride) had the cracks in the case professionally welded , broke the case in half at the shift rails :****: SOLD VEHICLE had entirely to much money in a weak case don't waste the money on it!

Specs on the rig was wore out 5.0 sbf t18 4spd black box underdrive( only used for driveline spacer and showing off 205:1 low range is useless) then a piece of scrap iron DANA 300 tons and 39.5 balled boggers

My 300 has hd outputs, 4 to 1, behind a 5.7, 42 stickys and has been solid.

Ford power that's what it was let it eat. :dblthumb:

Thanks for the replies! I never had any trouble out of the stock 300 behind my v6 but wasn't sure about one with some power in front of it. thumb.gif
