Anyone able to/have access to/know of a place to buy.... a tapered drill bit that can ream out dana 44 high steer arm stud holes... i think the reason my new arm wont go on, is because the coned holes in the arm for the cone washers to go in, wont go in.... they are still hanging above the surface of the arm about 1/4"

Anyone able to help me here?

I was going to get a new set of cone washers and stud, but i was thinking more about it today and i don't think that would have solved anything...:booo:

The cone washers should be slightly above the arm surface. They are what puts pressure on the arm to keep it in place and centered on the studs. If they sat all the way down in the arm the nut would bottom out on the arm

ya, bottoming out is not going to be a problem...maybe i need to clear the threads...cus it felt like they were bottoming out, i literally spent 30 seconds on this problem before going back to another:mad:
