Its been a while since I did any 44 stuff to know whats producing what these days. Who is making a dad 44 high steer arm that will let you run like a 3" BS wheel?

I have had mine for quite a while and run 4" B.S. the arms are full length and clear just fine.

I am not sure if he still makes um but PM BenW.

I was looking at those arms sam--and they might work, even more so when I get the front diff sitting how it should be--sitting at 2 degrees of negative caster--should be around 7 positive so that will help a bunch

I used to use Parts Mike on the d44 arms and tierods for tacoma swaps, but then his prices doubled.

I have been using R&P offroad in oregon since, they are very reasonable and have nice products. They are at the enumclaw and puyallup swapmeet every year.

You could probaly have them bring your order to the swapmeet coming up.:beer:

So its sitting a bit rotated back?:eeek:

No--forward--- (negative below level posititve above as I remember it).

Im confused:eeek: You want the top balljoint further back than the lower.

wouldnt that be leaned back? On a chev or toyota where the shackle is behind the axle, it always drives better with longer shackles.:;

O okay, it makes sense now.

So you want to bring it back and that will also bring up the height of the HiSteer arms correct?

So then they will clear the leaf srpings easier

no your right--but I prefer to use the term caster that leaned back :awesomework:

I've got the parts mike super arms on mine and was running 3.75 BS wheels. They are pretty spendy though and had some issues clearing the spring pack. ended up using a 1/2" spacer

From the looks of what i read the sky high ones are taller so there isnt a need for the spacers, but i could be wrong without actually comparing the 2 in real life how are you really suppose to know :awesomework:

I would go with the Skye Arms, although it took a friggin LONG time to get the complete order; got everything but the pitman arm in about 2wks,took another 2 to get the pitman:mad:---The Runner I just redid the undercarriage on is now running a custom HP44/9" combo; Let's just say he is really happy with how it drives/handles....Set the caster at approx 5* positive. Not a very good pic, but I think you can see the setup under the Runner pulling my rig back over; That's the rig I redid recently using Skye's steering arms...And the added height is built into the hi steer arms; No spacers needed:awesomework:...
