im a toyota guy and am just learning about chevy drivtrain because im about to score a 4x4 1ton for super cheap but need to know this first. i want to swap everything into my yota

its a 76 aprox. dually, and im under the impression that the dually front end(60) is wider than the SRW front end. i dont want the extra with. is there a kit that converts it to the single rear front, the skinnier front, or just a couple parts i can pick up from napa? i dont want deal with narrowing it.

this may be a stupid question but thanks in advance.

just swap front hubs from dual to single around 500.00 to convert all the other parts interchange....I got my stuff from six states hubs bearings shipped to me

Just the wheel bearing hubs are different. I have a set of used Chevy SRW hubs for $290 with new studs.

Call me about your axle, I know a cheap way to narrow the width down. Odie @ (253) 590-6404.

just run H1 rims and it brings it really close to SRW width, plus you get beadlocks out of the deal.

The dually wheel mounting surface can be milled off, then run studs thru the area where the wheel hub assm. bolts together, presto SRW width front. :awesomework:

right on, its my dads truck and he told me he'd trade me for a 3/4 ton. so he's lookin for a cheap 3/4 ton for me to buy for him. so ill be draggin it home here in the next couple days.

thanks all

You can do a 6 lug conversion if you have expensive 6 lug beadlocks..Its a few more bucks though

F250 TTB wheel hubs (80-97'?) can be used to change to SRW on a ford 60, cheapest, easiest way to do it with no machine work. Chevy wheelhubs WONT directly bolt on, ford has a shorter spindle and different bearing spacing. Are you positive it is a Dana 60 front, I thought open knuckle 60's started in 78'?
