i have been searching for the best deal on hysteer arms for my a king pin 60, i have found atleast 50 companies that make them in many different versions from double sheer to double ended,

some of which do away with the king pin spring and some that do not:eeek:

so i am seaking info from those of you with more experience with this then I

pro's/cons of keeping and loosing the spring... from what i have gathered in my research those that have done away with the spring seam to have to add shims every now and again for proper preload on the king pin...

thanks:beer:

Basically run the style that you want.

I opted to run a specific style and went from there.

Also looking for arms some people want cheep others want quality. Pirate seems to have a bit more info for ya.

The ones that I have (Ballistic) don't use a spring and have external adjustment of preload.

i have searched pirate.... i want a set that are long enough to reach the same axis as the stock stearing arm casted into the knuckle because i would like to make them double shear, with out spending 300 on a double sheer set

so basically i want a set that are not a cheap POS that will fail, i want some burly cheap ones that are just plain janes, single ended one or two holes in each arm doesn't matter, as i am only running a tie rod

cheapest i have found yet are around 50 an arm... KOZ offroad is anyone running these

how do you like your ballistic arms? which ballistic arms are you running, double shear or single

I had to mod my btf arms for double shear after breaking a steering bolt twice.
