i pretty sure this is a stupid question but here goes. i have had cromoly shafts , stock shaft, warn premium hubs, wile marker hubs and drive flanges. i keep breaking left side(long side) outer axle, inner axle, and hubs at different times. i'm running 30 outers right now. i'm thinking about buying 35 outers and hubs. Any ideas to help a wheelin buddy on a poor man budget?

Yukon outter 35s are like $70 I believe and lots of guys around here have had good luck with 'em. Personally I think Alloy USA is the best you can buy from what I've seen on the trail, but they're a bit more expensive. Of course there's the super bling longfield and CTM shafts, but that's in a whole 'nuther category to me.

30 spline 60 outters dont work.... laughing1

Upgrade, to 35s spline, even if you gotta do it one outter at a time man... Your gonna find that even with premium hubs and 35spl outters youll start killin the lockouts left and right though, so realize drive flanges will be a consideration down the road too. Or dont wheel so hard :flipoff1:

I don't think you will blow out lock out all the time. We run them on bobs buggy for a quick fix at the hub and still have cracked a ring gear and broke chromoly axles with them. They are tough.

really? how the hell was Matt O and P breaking them every trip out? Not saying its not possible, just saying from what I've been around. I have always had flanges, so I'm biased.
