Has anyone had any experience with ox axle joints? They look beefy as hell and cost $100 bucks apiece less than super joints. ITs about time to change out the spicer joints I've been running for a little over a year and just wondering if there a good up grade or need to save some more money for the super joint. Thanks for any input. I tried to copy and paste the link but had no luck.

It looks like it's over complicated to me. Looks like a lot of places that come apart which would result in a lot of places for wear.

Re:

So I guess the wear point would be the four notched cup on the inside, and the cap/body thing?

Holy **** that the most complicated u joint I've ever seen. Makes the Super Joints I had in my TJ look stupidly simple

I ran then in my old yellow jeep, 44 front on 38.5 boggers and I never broke one, I destroyed a stub, broke the whole knuckle off and killed a hub all at one time and the u joint was fine, I was very impressed with them

The biggest failure I have seen on ujoints other than lack or grease is the cap coming off. Most people don't spend the time to see what caused the failure, but generally the first step was the cap then the ears, then it exploded. With this design the caps will not come off, so it's a good thing.

If the cap had the capability to keep the ears from spreading, that would make it even better.
