What size thread is the spindle threads on Chevy dana 60 front end looking to buy a die to fix threads and is 14 bolt spindle the same Size

Yes a 60,70 and a 14 are the same.

Have you tried using a small file to open up the threads?

I've had good luck using a hub nut to chase the threads and put them back to normal. Might be worth a shot.

If the 14 bolt is the same as the D60 spindle, it looks like the thread is 2"-16 based on the 14 bolt spindle nut part information - http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-2632-615-130.aspx

Yep shows to be 2"-16tpi when I looked it up. I never knew 60 and 14 bolt was the same.

I have a thread file that works pretty good you just have to keep it inline with the threads. Ive never seen a die that big but im sure you can get one!
