I just got the front end for my new project, its a 1977 dodge dana 60. I need to remove the C's without cutting off the tube in order to turn my pinion 15* higher to clear the lower link bar. Then put the C's back on at stock spec caster and weld. Do yall have any ideas to help make this as painless as posable? I here this process is a real bitch.

Don't take the inner C's all the way off. Grind off the welds and rotate them to where you want. May take some "persuasion".:;

I have a big hammer (thats what she says anyway) and a torch. So just grind as far as i can and insted of pounding them off the end just pound them around the tube???? I got a few buddies that will help.

Don't know if 60's are any different than a 44 but I used a 4.5" angle grinder with a fresh wheel and just went all the way around the weld until it was gone. Used a hammer and kept checking until I could see whats left of the weld crack. My shoulder was sore for a couple of days after that LOL. I had to beat mine all of the way off though and clean up the tube a bit with some emery and then put them back on at the angle I wanted

In a nut shell yes. It won't be as easy as it sounds.
