A couple of guys and myself went to Dayton today to try out the new course for Werock or something like that. My buddy is more into crawlin and that's what his rig is set up for. He did great crawled some pretty cool stuff. I was there to goof off. Well, started out hitting some small ledges and reverse went out on the trans. No problem I just need to hit steeper **** so I can roll off of it. played a little more and with a little encouragement from George and kenny tryed a decent line. First attempt, rolled off the side of the hill. Up righted my rig and tryed the same line, this time alittle more throttle. I started floating to left and was a few feet from going off ten' high ledge stayed in the throttle and it pulled back to the right, but a little to much and down I go. For some reason I ended up pulling off a classic Kelly save and rode it out. When I hit on the right side it snapped my upper heim which made my axle roll which made my lower heim pull out the threads which made the axle roll more which made both my rear coilovers break. Plus cracked my trans housing and knocked a big hole in the oil pan.
If anyone gets a chance to try out Dayton it's a pretty cool place. Basicly they blasted a cliff and everything to hit is right there close together. Kenny has alot of technical steep and off camber climbs, as well as some steep go fast jump at the top stuff. You can easily play there all day+.

just shafts or did it **** the body up?
I think I am going to have to buy two new shocks, messed um up pretty bad. Broke both ends off both shocks warped one tube and possibly bent one shaft.

Tell me more about this place.

Do they have a website?
What's the address?
Are they open every weekend like windrock or do you need to reserve it like Gray Rock?

Sounds like you got a busy week ahead of you. You still got the number I gave you for coilover parts?

holy crap! you get any pics of this place or the carnage? Damn sorry to hear about that damage. think if you'd pulled it off, HELL YEAHS!!!

you still wheel like a puss..... thumb.gif

I bought a 28' trailer last night, you still ready to go to the Hammers?

Here's some pics that they took yesterday. Bill's rig worked great and like I said before it crawled pretty well. His last run was the best he took it up a pretty steep rocky line to the top.
I think the owner is Kenny, and if you look it up on werocks site it's listed as Pitts Gap. That's the road It's off of. He only wants built rigs to run on the course as of now, so if your not willing to roll your junk keep off. Theres enough lines for 8 courses from insane to sane. there's alot of technical climbs and of course a few balls to the walls type **** also. The area is only about a 1/4 mile long and you can stand in one place and watch all the action.
I think my heims are 1 inch and it sheared the stub off the single heim on my three link. I've been running these for about 3+years and beating on it hard, so I'm not too surprised about the outcome.
Greg Stone >chuck norris and yes I am ready for the Hammers. Do you still want me to bring the topper Steve has with me to MM.

We went to Dayton a few years back. If its the same area, they have trails too. We didn't get to ride much cause I had some problems but what we did was pretty good. Its all private property IIRC. You gonna have it back together for MM?

I want have it together by Shamrock. I didn't get any pics of the breakage.I never have a camera around for the good stuff. I even bought a video camera for my wife for Christmas just for me. I think I have used it once.
