Did Sony Just Pull The Best Sales Job Ever?

So, Sony pulls The Interview. Everyone hollers. Even the president talks about it on his new conference. Everyone uproars. Then Sony decided to release it on Christmas Day as planned.

Brilliant, bravo Sony, brilliant.

Millions of advertising dollars saved, millions of dollars of free press given.

Thoughts?

Its being released in like a fraction of the theaters it otherwise would have been, isn't it? Like 1%?

Personally I thought they should have just put it on the net for everyone for free.

I'd have to find the article again but I read somewhere that Obama was telling congress that this showed that they need to pass some new internet laws he's been wanting to see. I'd say if it was fake it has something to do with that but I'm always really suspicious of what the governments up to so it could just be me.

The day it happened I called my brother and told him that that's what this would lead to. Never let a good crisis go to waste!
