What is the popular rotor and caliper doner to convert a ford 8.8 to disk? Could a front dana 30 out of a Charokee work? Or do you just use ford parts?

for the cost, just get one out of an explorer.
the entire rear ed would cost about the same as a conversion.
I've seen them for as little as 250 bucks

ford 8.8 disc brake kit off of a 96 or newer explorer. No front Dana 30 brakes wont work.

Are the 8.8s any good with drum brakes? I have one with drums and that is why I ask. What is it worth if I sold it? $100 maybe?

Well I dont want anymore parts. I have a jeep that I am parting out and have this axle that was in it. I will post the parts up soon if anyone is interested.
