I am building a "Dirt Cheap Wheeler" on Xtreme this year...I am looking for a couple locals who have "no money" in you rig and want to come out for a trail ride with us. Will more than likely be at Wooleys because they are the closest to the shop and easy for our crew. Ride will be around Christmas on a Saturday....post up a pic of your rig in this thread and some info about it. If it looks like it will fit the show I will send you a PM

87.samurai 4.3 duel fuel propane,th350/dana 300 homemade twin stick shifters, home built drive shafts,toy front 30spline longs aussie locker,trail gear high steer, toy ifs ps box. rear toy axel stock welded, yj spoa, diy beadlocks cut 33 boggers, exo cage,harnesses.
I bought it bone stock and built it .
I have around 4500. in it and I have a blast.

4 fresh rebuild kit on housing
5 new g2 chromo axles 10 year replacement

rear axle
1 ifs housing
2 529 g2 gear set
3 spool

like brand new 38 tsl tires

Front springs are toy rears
Rear is four link with tj coils.

Got the truck for about nothing. I done all
The fab work myself. An the parts I have I got a pretty
Good deal. Got right a 4200 in mine.

88 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 auto with 231 locked 30 front, welded 35 rear "soon 60 and Sterling", exo, on 34 LTB's with APC seats, harnesses front and rear. Even after the tons are under it will still have less than $3500 in it of course that was with the help of some good friends and their "old used up" parts and labor helping.

Bought not built. Even with price I paid plus upgrades/replace parts its under $5k

4cyl toyota engine on propane, w56 transmission, dual toyota cases, d44/12 bolt out of a chevy spools and shafts. Worn out red labels on beadlocks

88 samurai. Toyota axles 4 link rear and stretched. Low gear case and all other drive train stock. Built from everyone else's scraps and beat on for a few years now. I'm in !!!!!!! But better yet let's challenge your low budget rig to mine. Come to golden mountain and play follow the leader?????

351w with duel fuel, t19, dana 300, dana 44 front, 9" rear, streched with 63" chevy springs rear and homemade yj springs up front.

Stock 4.0L on dana 44 and 9". ARB in the front and spool in the rear 4.86 gears. Dual stock T-cases 36" swampers on DIY bead locks. I have less than 5k in it for sure.
