Dodge Camper tie downs

Torklift frame mounted, bolt right up. The side with the gas tank is a pita.

Torklift is the brand, they have all kinds of truck camper stuff. They are in Kent on Central. Ask for matt off of the NWBomber board.

I didnt do the frame mounts because they were to expensive and every old timer I talked to said I dont need them with my 1600lb camper. I spent about
200.00 and its works great.

My camper is about 3,000 lbs. I don't like the mounts that go to the bumper & in front of the bed, I have seen the bed buckle on a couple rig's.

1600 lbs is that dry weight or loaded up?

its dry and it is only a 8.5 ft, If it was heavier I would run frame mounts:;

Hell I didn't use frame mounts on my Ford w/ a 3000lbs 10.5' camper, and it was fine :D

I am not familure with the dodge bed setup and on my chev the camper is tied to the frame....

You have the skills you could make your own torque lift knock offs. My front tie downs are still sittin on the garage floor if u want me to swing them buy tomorrow to mock them i can. or any other time that works for you.

I dont know about that. It might take you a total of an hour. TOPS! Maybe we can hook up next week, i'll swing them by so you can have a gander at them.

These ones are for my ford, but u get the idea of how they work and what you gotta do to make them sturdy.

Mike, you can buld some sweet receiver hitch style hold downs right off the frame when you get your new rig, simple stuff.:;

then use the turn buckel style tie down

I've got a set of Torklift 2nd gen dodge tiedowns, REARS ONLY. Used 4 times, I bought brand new, I'd sell 'ya for $100. You still have to buy the fronts. :redneck:
